The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission is accepting applications for summer employment. If you need a recommendation from my office, contact us at 215-364-3414 by April 15.

All summer applications must be completed online at paturnpike.com. Be sure that when completing the application to select "SUMMER WORK" at the first step in the registration process.

All eligible applicants must be at least l8 years of age and have completed a secondary education program such as high school or GED at the time of hiring.

Toll collectors must be available to work any of the three shifts over a 24-hour period, including weekends and holidays, on the basis of a 40-hour week.

The pay is $12 per hour for toll collectors, maintenance, and clerks, and $14.50 per hour for engineering positions. The summer employment program runs between May 1 and September 30.
