HARRISBURG- Republican House members from Southeastern Pennsylvania crafted and passed a historic measure to extend the governor’s emergency order, permitting additional relief to areas affected by the remnants of Hurricane Ida. This was the first time an emergency order from the governor was extended by the state Legislature.

HARRISBURG—Health care workers and hospital administrators today warned state legislators that COVID-19 has left caregivers with PTSD and other negative impacts on the mental health of the state’s health care workers.
WHAT: Rep. Wendi Thomas (R-Bucks) will hold a hearing to learn about the impact the COVID-19 pandemic has had on our healthcare workers and what the State can do to support them. The hearing will take testimony from healthcare workers, including physicians, nurses, and hospital administrators, as well as mental health professionals. HARRISBURG – The PA Department of Health and legislative vaccine task force announced today that they will distribute the Johnson & Johnson vaccine directly to the Bucks County Department of Health.
HARRUSBURG— The Southeast Pennsylvania Republican House and Senate delegation today applauded the Pennsylvania Health Department for taking steps to bring more vaccines to Bucks, Montgomery, Delaware and Chester counties by setting up new vaccination sites through their county governments or local health departments, and streamlining the appointment system.
